OFF-GRID SYSTEMS
Off-Grid: This solution is the optimum answer to being independent in generating power. The combination of solar panels, inverters and batteries allows on to draw power directly from your panels during the day, and store energy in your batteries for use during the night. This system also allows you to "top-up" your batteries from Eskom power in the event of the weather not allowing your panels to produce sufficient power.
The beauty of these systems are that they are modular, so we can always upgrade the system to increase your capacity and you can live a life without load-shedding. We will do an assessment on your power consumption and guide you in designing a system that suits your needs and budget.
GRID-TIE SYSTEMS
Grid-Tie: Households could opt for an on-grid system where the power is generated during the daytime and fed directly into the household's use to offset energy drawn from the grid. This can drastically reduce your electricity bill at home or work, especially in an environment like a business where operating hours are predominantly during the day time. The typical grid-tie system however does not allow for batteries and does not function when the main power is off.
COMMERCE
Commerce is about making money. Your office or shopping mall could generate its own power at less than the costs of the grid. Fix your risk through security of supply and a reduction of costs. Already in the current market a commercial system seldom fails to make financial sense.
The rooftops of commercial buildings such as shopping malls and office blocks receive enormous
amounts of solar energy which, if not used, unfortunately goes to waste. Commercial buildings generally use more power than that which could be generated by covering its roof with PV Solar panels. Almost 90% of all buildings could save electricity costs by installing photovoltaic solar panels on their rooftops.
INDUSTRY
Industry is reliant on electrical supply. Whilst industry consumes large amounts of power the generation through PV during daytime could be offset against the total consumption to reduce costs. Industrial sites have vast unused roof space and are at the same time large consumers of electricity. Installing a Solar PV system would offset the cost of power purchased from the grid.
